The Autonomy Project Summer School 28 June - 2 July, 2010

Aims to, as a temporary community of students, graduates and early career practitioners, create "blueprints" for sustainable autonomous practice in a contemporary cultural sphere. Taking place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, the five-day "school" will in fact be something more of a space of production - of ideas, of new definitions, of new forms and new models. The sessions will be hosted by guest artists, researchers, designers and curators - each triggering a set of questions which will be taken up in group work and activities. The end of the week will see certain outcomes (whatever those may be) which will then be displayed at Onomatopee until 11 July, 2010 and comprise part of the second edition of the Autonomy newspaper - serving as valuable guidelines in building the Autonomy Project.

Hosts of the Summer School:
Van Abbemuseum and Onomatopee
