This new work, made on the occasion of the exhibition, invites you with its almost reverse museological display to take a closer look at a of the artist’s intensive research around historical issues of emergency currencies in Spain, Germany, Surinam and the Netherlands – to name a few. Emilio Moreno’s article on “Other Money Issues” can be found in the 2nd Autonomy Project newspaper: Frameworks, which contextualises the narratives around establishing trust and value independent of governmental frameworks in what the artist construes as ‘states of exception’.
